Why do NCAA home teams wear the school colors for football, but basketball home teams wear white jerseys? For example, the Univeristy of Tennessee wears orange jerseys for home football games. In basketball, however, UT wears white jerseys for home basketball games. Why is this?

Especially when the NCAA strictly prohibits players from receiving money from boosters and agents? Surely the NCAA can afford some method of reimbursement as their TV revenues soar; advertising is pumping millions of dollars into the NCAA, not to mention jersey sales and other profits. Six billion dollars is a lot of money. Realizing all of this, if they decide to pay the NCAA men’s basketball players, the tuition also goes up for the rest of the student population. Who gets paid what and who gets paid more? What about the women’s NCAA basketball players and the football players? What about the water boy, and the cheerleaders? Do they all get paid too? Paying the colligate players would also would provide the schools in the major conferences a major advantage over the smaller schools. Over time they would be unable to afford many athletic programs. Your thoughts??

New basketball uniforms by Nike? For the tourney Nike has unveiled a new uniform for 4 teams Syracuse, Florida, Ohio State, and Arizona. Has anyone seen these uniforms, and can you honestly take them seriously. Form fitting shirts and padded underwear to wear under the shorts an ability to customize your own uniform if you want shorts that hit your toes you can have them. NCAA is retarded for letting these uniforms hit the court. Some special stuff by school BSB for syracuse which was their logo in 1900 will be on the shirts over their hearts, Floridas will have alligator scales designed onto the jersey, and Ohio State is going to Lebron James insignia on theirs(sorry did he attend there or not).

At the age of 25, he was head coach at the University of San Diego, at the time, Bickerstaff was the youngest college coach in the U.S. He went on to become the youngest assistant coach in NBA history when he joined the Washington Bullets [now Washington Wizards] at the age of 29. From 1985-1990, Bickerstaff was head coach of the Seattle SuperSonics; he was the first African American from Kentucky to be named a head coach in the NBA [the second was Wes Unseld and the third was Dwane Casey]. The counter league, Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), was for whites only until school integration began in the mid-1950s. He then was an assistant coach under Clem Haskins for five years at Western Kentucky University until 1986, when he became an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. Casey was the third former player to become an assistant coach at UK and the first African American to do so. In 1988 he filed a $6.9 million suit against the Emery Air Freight Corp. and the employees who claimed to have discovered $1,000 cash in a package Casey sent to the father of California basketball player Chris Mills.
