Doesn't Dan Marino....?
...still hold almost ever record a QB can? Yeah.. that's what I thought.... Oh, and I'm still having a hard time believing that #5 Texas actually beat UCF by 3 points!!! Thank goodness I'm a "2006 Nation Champions, first time in history, NCAA basketball and football champs" Gator fan. I have soooo much to whine about!

- Well Brett Favre broke the record today for most win by a QB.
- Yeah and Favre is less than 5 TD passes away from beating Marino's record. Favre can take Marino's spot NEXT WEEK! And oh yeah, how many SuperBowls did Marino win? ZERO!!
- nope. Favre is already ahead of him on all time completions, victories, and only 3 behind on td passes. Also Manning broke Marino's record of most td passes in a season. Then there is the career passer rating, which is held by steve young Highest passer rating of season (Manning) Highest passer rating of a rookie (Roethlisberger) Passes completed in a season (Rich Gannon) Td passes in a game (it was 7, not sure who held it but it wasnt marino) most td passes by rookie (manning) most yards in a game (Norm van brocklin, warren moon, and boomer esiason all had marino beat) Theres a whole bunch more that I don't feel like listing. Check it out here
- Actually, no Dan Marino doesn't own almost every record a QB can. Sure he holds the record for career passing yards but Brett Favre will break this if he plays next year. Maybe this year but I think 3,800 yards is a stretch. Brett Favre will also break the career passing TD mark in the next few weeks. Besides the most important records are wins and championships. Players, especially QBs are measured by wins and championships more than anything else. Career wins : Brett Favre has the most, John Elway is second. Superbowls : I don't remember Marino winning any. By the end of his career Peyton Manning will own most of these records anyway. And he's already won a Superbowl.
