Why is California so great?

Would the other 49 states please step up and try winning some championships. You guys are pathetic. Here's a small sampling of California's greatness. 8 Super Bowl Championships 10 World Series Championships 11 NBA Championships 13 NCAA Football Championships (at least, depending on who your source is. http://www.ncaasports.com/football/mens/history) 15 NCAA Basketball Championships 1 Stanley cup champion (and probably 3 or 4 more to come consecutively.) 2. Yeah, whatever. You forget that California has a load of huge cities that have pro sport teams. 1. Los Angeles 2. San Francisco 3. San Diego 4. Oakland 5. Sacramento Of course the odds would dictate a huge state is going to have its share of glory. But answer me this? 1. If California is so awesome, why are the Dodgers so talented at choking? 2. How's that NFL football going......oh. my bad, you haven't had NFL football since 1994 because your fan base consists of a bunch of flakes who lack passion and loyalty to keep a franchise in town.
