Why can't College bowl games be like NFL playoffs, the winners going to the next bowl?
Bowl games make money for schools, and add honor to the programs; so if a school can keep winning they can make more $$ and a True National Champion can be decided easliy , just like NCAA Basketball! the final game can be just before the Super Bowl! Right now the situation is a joke. may I add the term "corrupt"? so we might have to add a few more playoff bowl games, what is wrong with that?

- There's already too many bowl games. A few more to make it more of a playoff would make the season way too long. The BCS system sucks, but I don't think they plan on changing it any time soon.
- No, we keep the exact amount of bowl games. We have 32 which is perfect. Of course the worse bowl games would be at the start of the playoff system, and then at the better bowl games for the better round. The final four could be the Fiesta Bowl,Capital One Bowl, Sugar Bowl, and the Cotton Bowl. The final two would be the Rose Bowl and the Orange Bowl.
- Just because. That's why. At least that's what the BCS says.
- I don't think they should do a 32 game play off system or anything like that but it wouldn't hurt to have maybe the top 4 teams determine the national championship. #1 Seed vs #4 Seed Rose Bowl. #2 Seed vs #3 Seed Fiesta Bowl. National Championship. Sugar Bowl. The National Championship game would rotate between Orange Bowl Rose Bowl Fiesta Bowl Sugar Bowl. The Bowl that's left out of Rotation would host. SEC champs VS. Pac 10 Champs (or runner up) or Big 10 Champs VS. BIG 12 champs. It would depend on the rankings.
