Can you tryout for a different college basketball team if your not enrolled in that college?

If you are enrolled in a particular college, is it possible to try out for a different college basketball team if even though you dont play for your current college?

4. Absolutely not. Players do often want to play for a different school, but in order to do so, they have to transfer to that school (and oftentimes they have to sit out a year and just attend classes before they are allowed to play for the new team).
