After Watching the National Champ ?

Does any one feel that (after looking at the AP Polls) #2 Georgia Should have the National Chmpionship and not LSU ? And that West Virginia should be #2 and that they should have played for the National Championship ?Also if you dont agree with me on that at least agree with me that there needs to be a change in the Championship for NCAA Football go to a playoff or tournment style playoff so that we could have Teams like Georgia or West Virginia PLAYING for the National Championship instead of computer ? Hockey, Baseball and Basketball do it I know the bowl games make alot of money for schools but they could still have there bowl games just make them in diffrent rounds of the tournment, Let me know your thoughts .... IM told that you need to play all year long but if im not mistaken LSU had 2 along with about 5 other teams

BCS is a bunch of crap.
no, i dont think they should. yes, they played great at the end of the season, but they also didnt perform at times during the season. the national champion should be the team that performed for all 14 or 13 games. lsu is the closest, 2 triple overtime losses.
WVU, UGA, or LSU would have all beaten the Buckeyes...

I don't think that a playoff system would work. (my opinion) Not the way people are proposing it, anyways. Because you're going to end up with a team in the national title game that may have lucked up on someone's bad day. Until there is a good way to make a playoff system, the BCS is good enough for me (as crappy as it is)
No, UGA did not deserve to be #1. Next season, i think they have a good chance but for now I say no. GEAUX TIGERS!
I can agree, but I'll admit I'm a little parcial to WVU cause I'm a BIG fan. But, the way I see it is the way NPR put it earlier this year...they said "we are giving every team the national title" I think every team could be called the national champion. At least, every team (maybe not every team but most) that won a bowl game. The BSC is a bit crazy. Especially after seeing WVU beat the Sooners. It really looked as though they could beat anyone that night.
UGA has NO claim. UGA lost to South Carolina. They got waxed by UT, who LSU beat in the SEC title game with a backup QB. UGA didn't even win the SEC East! UGA beat a bad football team from a weak conference in the Sugar Bowl. LSU beat the #1 ranked team in the country (overrated for sure, but nowhere near as bad as Hawaii). UGA finished strong. That's all you can say. As to the playoff, take a number. You and every other fan out there has suggested something else. Everyone knows the BCS is BS. That isn't the issue. It is there because those in power, college presidents, want it there. End of story.
wvu lost to pitt. I'm from pitt and that lose alone scraps anything of a dream for a title. if wvu played in the sec they would win 5-6 games every year. drop dead hillbilly. Georgia didn't even win the conference title. they would lose
Only if you ignore the facts. Georgia finished third in the SEC, and second in their divisional half out of six teams. And didn't qualify for the SEC title game. Everyone says they finished strong. You have to consider the entire year, not the five or six games where you looked the best. WV probably would have been #2 had they not lost right at the end. That, with their mediocre strength of schedule, knocked them down. Discussions are finally being proposed by the powers that be for a change.
how does one team (OSU) rise in the final BCS rankings and another (UGA) fall?? Neither of them played the final week of the season and OSU was the last of those teams to lose?? If you looked at OSU's schedule it clearly wasn't in the same hemisphere as Georgia's and OSU had 0 quality wins. The system failed miserabley this time and if I had a vote UGA would be #1.
