i am a sophmore in high school and tore my acl over the summer.i missed all of my sophmore year of football and watched another QB do my job.i am currently trying to get back onto the basketball court.am trying to decide on whether or not i should play football in the fall?one of my teammates on the basketball team is a D-1 recruit and thinks i can play at the college level.he wants me to focuse on basketball and workout with him over the summer.however the football coach thinks i can be a really good QB and says that if i commit myself he will find a place for me to play.if i play football it really is a big commitment in that i wont be able to go to the summer basketball things with my team and also probly wont have time to workout with my basketball teammate.another factor in the decision is that i have to earn the starting qb job from a senior.however i also know that i can compete for it and the better man will win.i am around 6'1" and am not done growing..what should i do????????
