nba live 2006 for psp help?

whenever i try to play online with nba live 2006 it says that the server is not availible would you like to reconnect? I disable wireless security everytime i want to play online (which is recommended) but i was wondering what the cause of this is? is it because nba live 2007 is out now and they dont support nba 06 online now?
