College Basketball?
how many divisions are there in college basketball and what is it that seperates them also if you do play basketball for a division III for a college and then transfer to a higher division school do you think you could make it is it a big difference

Division 2 - Limited Scholarships (usually smaller or low academic schools) Division 1 - Full scholarships, big time college basketball There are very few players at the D2 and D3 levels that would make a big impact on the D1 level. D2 players often have academic issues and cannot play D1 because of them. The best D3 teams could compete at the D2 level, but the top D2 teams would not be able to compete at the D1 level. There's only a small gap between 2 and 3, but a huge gap from 2 to 1.
