The Body Of Work. Have you noticed that many announcers are now using the statement "The body of work"?

I find it truly amazing that a statement by Les Miles the coach of the NCAA College Football National Champion LSU Tigers can find itself being propagated by many TV announcers I've never really heard of. I've heard it used by multiple College basketball announcers all the way through to Tennis and Golf personalities. What's with this new term coined by Ol' Les. Have you heard it and are you tired of/overjoyed hearing it? When will it end? Let me know how you feel. My Bad!!! I've never heard of it in my short 44 years on this planet. Until Les started campaigning for the National Title Game I had never, ever heard it used in sports terminology before. Thanks.

  1. I think it's a good term and it gets used by lots of people in industry, and even the arts. Why do you think Les coined the phrase? It's been around for decades... it's just that it is now used in football. P.s. I just googled the phrase and there are 33 million references! No problem. it really worked for Les! Geaux Tigers!!!!
