College basketball??

In order to play college basketball, would i have to of been on a high school team???

2. I would of thought Practice Practice Practice then do a trial ??
3. Not tooo sure but i know in football you dont. Theres some guys in the nfl that never played in high school and only in college.
4. You can walk on in any sport at any school. You can even try out for pro teams. Just find out when tryouts are, and give it your best shot.
5. no, but there are certain skills that you will probably want to learn in highschool before you move straight to college, but thats obvious.
6. I heard that Brian Williams walked onto a top ten program at Tennessee without having played High School basketball. And he's seeing at least ten minutes per game as a backup big man down low. Having learned hoops playing street ball, a reporter supposedly asked him how he learned the finer points of the game. His response: playing basketball video games.
