basketball?

i'm going to try out for a basketball team next year, and i'm trying to find out how i should train for it? i'm a guard so i don't play down low. any suggestions?

  3. ok first you got to learn how to control the ball since your a guard and you HAVE to be good at shooting because that's the only thing that you cna pretty much do as a guard
  4. Being fundamently sound is the key. Have a good sense for the court and practice handling the ball. You may want to practice on your jump shot and be able to put it in the basket. If you can get some strength and size along with some jumping ability you may have a competitive edge.
