AriZona Wildcats Men's NCAA Basketball: Can they make the bracket of 65?

Upside: They've defeated the likes of Washington, Texas A & M, lost to Kansas by 4 pts. & lost to Memphis by 13 pts. without their top scorer that game. Downside: They've struggled amongst their own Pac-10 conference rivals, losing both games to Stanford & both games to Arizona St., also lost to UCLA on TV by 22 pts. They do however boast one of, if not the.. Toughest schedule in Men's NCAA Basketball, and are currently 16-10 with 5 conference games to go and the conference tournament. What are their chances, and what must they do to guarantee themselves comfort rolling into the Big Dance? Bo0o0oo0o0o0o0o0o0o @ Seahawks! LoL It ain't happenin'. ;-)

  1. they'll make it.
  2. i think they will make it as a middle seed.. as long as they win a game or two in their conference tournament..
  3. I think they will make it. The Pac-10 is too good. The committee will see this and I expect as many as 7 teams to get in and obviously Arizona is top 7 in the Pac-10. I hope they lose at least one more game though. I'm going to be at the Washington State vs. Arizona game tomorrow. Go Cougs!!! Just watch. The stifling Cougs defense will show up to play. It doesn't matter though because AZ will still make the tourney.
  4. I think AZ should make it. The Pac-10 is the first or second rated conference, and AZ has played a tough schedule. i think if they can win 19 games (including a game or two during the conference tournament) they should qualify pretty easily 20 wins and they should be in for sure. Even though they are not having the best year-- Bayless and the gang could surprise a few people and maybe make a sweet 16. Nickster
  5. i think arizona has a good shot, right now espn's bracketology has them listed as a #9 seed in the tournament. they update it every monday so whenever you wanna know how arizona is doing just go to espn.com, click on "men's bb" and then click on "bracketology". that's how i keep track of how west virginia is doing.
  6. Strength of schedule and strength of conference will get them in as long as they finish in the top 7 or 8...No conference is more brutal than the Pac-10 right now...
