Does anyone know what happened to NBA LIVE 07?

I went to Gamestop looking for nba live 07 for PS3 and i was told the release date was canceled? Does anyone know if it will be released??

A PlayStation 3 version of NBA Live 07 was due to debut and coincide with the release of the PS3, but it has been cancelled. If your interested as to what the reason was, EA's PR person, David Tinson, says: "We are concentrating our efforts on creating a spectacular NBA Street: Homecourt [instead of porting NBA Live 07]. [Homecourt] is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 early next year." So EA Sports has decided to just scrap their PS3 version of NBA Live 07. We'll have to wait until next year.
Trust me when i say 2k7 is better anyway
