Basketball

Is the NCAA basketball tournament a big deal where you live?

I live in in Louisville KY and most around here live and breathe college basketball. While I know big fans of college basketball exist all over the place, is the "Big Dance" highly regarded amongst the masses?

  2. I live in Indiana. 'Nuff said.
  3. It is a big deal everywhere for those that love basketball.
  4. I live in Lawrence, Kansas and during March Madness, nothing else matters. It is the highlight of the year. We look forward to the season.
  5. Today at 11 a.m. CDT, the best part of the year began here in Kansas. The Hawks are again a contender to win the whole thing. It has been 20 years since Danny Manning and the Miracles defeated Oklahoma. There have been so many chances since then and so many major disappointments, chokes, whatever you want to call it. We Jayhawk fans want that fifth national championship. ROCK, CHALK, JAYHAWK.
  6. My town has alot of basketball fans! so its really big.I live in a small town called Dobbs Ferry ,Ny. Google Kana Kihara and there will be a link about our team a year or 2 ago!
  7. Yes, here in Kansas it is always a big thing. Go Hawks!
  8. Yes. Especially to teens. They argue all day about who is better. Mostly people argue about the ACC. Duke and Carolina. Goooo Tar Heels!!!!
  9. Yes sir! San Antonio, Texas!!!
  10. Yes here in Michigan there is no way to escape any Big Ten sporting event, but during March Madness everyone goes mad. And don't even mention the possibility of playing Ohio State. Everything comes to a halt....lol
  11. Hell ya. Hopefully my Horns will be heading to Houston and then on to San Antonio.
  12. Hell Yeah it is, cuz in Memphis thats all thats being talked about..Go Tigers!!!!
  13. yes i believe anywhere you go in the Uniteed States its a big deal
  14. I'm watching and that's all that matters.
  15. i have no idea what your talking about you should google that stuff
  16. Heck yeah! I live in NC, 45 mins. north of Charlotte and 50 mins. west of Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh. This is the basketball state. I believe it's kinda like the Super Bowl, you may not like football or watch the seasonal games but, you'll watch the big game with your family and/or friends and make a party or get-together of it. The NCAA Tournament is the same way with some folks. It's held in many cities all over the country. Plus, a great, great deal of people place bets and gamble on these games so, theres more that watch. People find some things like March Madness odd and wonder why others are so pumped about this time of year and it draws them in. It's a great sport with hard core fans. You can't beat it. Go Heels!
  17. Yes, in Philly we have the Big 5 (Temple, Villanova, LaSalle, St. Joes, and Penn) plus Drexel all located in the city. We have 3 in this year (Temple lost today). Its a huge deal. This is a big time college bball town.
  18. las vegas!!..of course..bets all over the place.
  19. Big Deal? There is no bigger deal in North Carolina. LOL. Go UNC Tarheels.
