How does the bonus and 2x bonus work in NCAA basketball?
I'm assuming it has something to do with free throws but I'm not sure. I watch plenty but I've never been able to figure it out.

- The bonuses change after each half. The team gets a team foul when ever one of the players commit a foul. Once 7 fouls have been committed in a half, the other team gets 1-on-1 free throws. This means that the shooter gets one free throw, and if he makes it he can shoot again, but if he misses the ball is live. If he is fouled on a shot then he still gets his 2 or 3 shots. After 10 free throws the team gets 2 shots make or miss.
- Once a team has 10 fouls the opposing team gets 2 free throws.
- Once your team has 7 fouls you are in the bonus if it is a defensive foul. You then shoot the one&Maybe. After 10 fouls and it is defensive you get 2 shots
