Why did College Basketball change the free throw lineup?
When a player steps to the free throw line in 2008 Men's College Basketball games. The players line up for the rebounds one spot farther away than they did last year. I have noticed this in all games. Why did they change this and when?

- last year, and because players are getting more and more athletic making it almost impossible to rebound from the up close position
- LAST YEAR the NCAA said the offensive team had a better chance of rebounding a miss shot instead of the defensive team.
- They changed this rule, because the college association thought it was getting too rough under the goal after a free throw. So now they move them up a spot... Also it gives the offensive players more room to work with, thus allowing them a fair chance to get an offensive board.
