New NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament System?

Lately people have been criticizing the Tourney system, because they wine that there teams should have gotten in. Well I thought of a new system that could work, here it is: Once the Conference Tournaments are done they should take the top 5 conferences based on RPI and take the champions of them and give them automatic bids, then have the 6-31 conference champions have a tournament, then have the top 8 teams get automatic bids in that tournament, and the rest are out, so then there would only be 13 automatic bids instead of 31 automatic bids. Also the champion of that tournament get a guarenteed 8 seed at least. Yea but the top 3 teams have only lost like 17 times in however long college basketball has been around, which is not very fun games to watch

1. Do you realize that these guys playing college basketball are students, who will have to take midterms and final exams, turn in term papers, and do group projects just to stay eligible?
2. That wouldn't work. It will get rid of cinderella teams too!
