In Fantasy Basketball, is Josh Smith for Vince Carter a good trade?
In my fantasy basketball league, i recieved a trade proposal that offered to give me Josh Smith if I give away Vince Carter. Is this a good trade?

- hell yeah vince carter is more consistent then josh smith
- It depends on how your team is made. If you have more scorers, you might want to get Smith so you can get other stuff, or keep Carter so you can be a scoring machine. OR if you need more blocks get Smith, rebounds they'll both get you around the same amount, more for Smith, and assists go to Carter. Carter can get triple-doubles every once in a while (about 2-4 times a season) but Josh Smith can consistently get double-doubles (points and rebounds about every 5-12 games {maybe}). They're both amazing dunkers and have amazing plays (too bad it doesn't count in fantasy), and are both great athletes. Tell me your team and I can really tell you.
- i would do it. josh smith gets you defensive stats in addition to offense, and vince carter is more of a scorer than anything, he's like a mini-kobe who gets you decent assist stats. my preference is for defensive stats like blocks, since not many players get those, so i would take the trade.
