basketball?

basketball season is comming up after thanksgiving. If I stick to my diet, food wise, will I lose weight this basketball season. We will be practicing 5 times a week. Is basketball the right exercise for me to do if I want to lose weight?

  1. Basketball is going to be good for you. I am unsure of what kind of diet you are on, but I assure you, you will need plenty of nutrients to keep your body moving at a high pace. Basketball is an extremely demanding sport. You will loose weight if you apply yourself, but dont bindge on food. Good luck with the season.
  2. Yeah basically any sport almost is good for losing weight. Its definitely the right excercise
  3. Basketball can be an excellent sport to lose weight with. I am a freshman this year and without proper diet I have cu 9 LBS in about 2 weeks. One of the great things about basketball is it is a running sport so water weight will be lost almost instantaneously.
