Basketball?

Does a person playing basketball lose weight through just arms or everywhere? Does that mean playing basketball will reduce thigh fat?

  1. Basketball doesnt just lose weight through your arms. Its a great sport to stay in shape everywhere. Its like running, you get stronger legs and lose fat in your stomach. Yes basketball will reduce thigh fat and fat everywhere else depends how competitive and what level you are at.
  2. reduce thigh fat and gain a lot of freaking muscle. Man, I thought I'd get skinnier but the fat was replaced by muscle...but otherwise basketball rox my sox.
  3. yes, it is.. i don't play basketball, but i'm fond of watching it, and my boyfriend is basketball player.. and he told me that even tho shooting in the ring is just casual, but the thing that reduces fat there is running inside the court.. and whenever you shoot you're required to have more energies esp. in the arms.. well then, basketball is also a form of exercise.. good luck..
  4. Basketball its just like runnig although if you are playing a game you will lose more weight that only shooting around. check this link and it would let you know how many calories you burn.
