- Practice and ask your coach.
- ok, when you get the ball, if you do not have a shot, then put the ball in triple threat (on your side so that the defense cannot get it) and then look around for a person to throw it too. if no one is open then you can dribble to the baseline and try to take a drive to the basket. hope that helped a little.
- When you get the ball look at the basket and the court so you can see if any of your players are open. First look at the basket to fake out your defender and get by him the either shoot or pass or you can sweep the ball to the side the defender isnt on and then look for people on your team. Practice sweeping the ball (carrying the ball from one side to the other close to the ground). If you do all of these that should improve your game.
- PICKS AND SCREENS!!!
- triple threat -- if you dont know this, ask your coach try to set your mates free ( screen ) play solid defense
- I agree with every1 on triple threat. if u don't no wat this means (and bcoz i hav a lot of time on my hands) i hav found a website that xplains it perfectly [look at the 'source' thing]. i play forward/guard and i think that in ne position, triple threat is a very gud way to slow urself down and giv u time to think about the next passage of play. gd luck and the only other advice i can giv u is practice, practice, practice:D
- We would suggest to get the ball in a triple threat position. First, always take care of the ball. Don't get in a hurry and rush your self but be quick! Take your time in making a good hard fundamental passing and or shot! We would first suggest to maybe just slow down and try to let the game come to you. Don't try to force things that you know you can not do. And then work on those things, that you know are your weaknesses even outside of practice!
