why is it important to have basketball rules?

1. because with out rules for basketball every one would be fouling, stepping out of bounce,and kicking the ball with out rules they wouldnt call it basketball
2. bc without it ppl would get hurt easily
3. because rules keep the game fair
4. All aspects of life need, and have rules. Bball included. Without rules, there would be chaos.
