5. Your vertical is how high you feet get off the floor from taking one step and jumping. You can measure it by jumping next to a wall with something on the tips of your fingers to mark how high you made it. You can use a small piece of tape and stick it to the wall. Now measure how high you can reach standing straight up. Measure how high the tape is off the floor from your jump and subtract from that your standing reach and you have your vertical jump.
