  1. You don't need a paragraph, all you need to do is put the ball through the hoop. This works really well because the hoop is bigger than a basketball.

  3. First of all, the point guard is the captain of the team. You should be a good all-around player. You should be able to do all things well, especially passing and ball-handling. But you can't be shy about shooting the ball. You have to be quick, fast and athletic. To increase your stamina just run every day. I think point guard is the hardest position to play in basketball.
  4. The point guard is very similar to the quarterback of a football team. They direct the offensive, lead the team and call out plays. In order to be considered a solid point guard you need to: 1. Not turn the ball over. Your assist to turnover ratio should at least be 2:1. In order to become a good ball handler that doesn't turn over the ball you need to be able to dribble very well with both hands while looking up at the action. If you can do this then you will be able to notice when a teammate is open for an easy bucket. 2. In order to be a solid point guard you don't have to be able to shoot well and score a lot of points, but if you can it is definitely a bonus and your coach will love it. 3. Point guards need to be quick and be able to drive to the hoop and create shot opportunities for the players around him, like the shooting guard. 4. To increase your stamina run suicides to the foul line and back, three point line and back, half court and back and then a full court sprint. Do 5 sets of these with a 60 second rest in between sets. 5. Jog a mile or two over the weekend to keep your muscles loose. Points guards should be in the best shape out on the court, because they do the most running. 6. Wall sits, wall jumps, squats and jumping rope will help you with your hops. We used to do these exercises all the time during conditioning.
  5. if u wanna play basketball, then a paragraph is not gonna help. You need: Time, Patience, A good coach, and sometimes money. Get off your lazy butt and go get those things!
