  1. Well, the first question that need to be asked is, do you like basketball? If so, how much? Are you willing to follow the NBA, just as much as you have with American football? If the answers to all of these questions are "Yes," then your on your way to having an interesting season with your team. Just remember to read the rules of the game. Everything will take off from there. Just give it some time. Hope this was helpful.
  2. fBball is a little different than fFball in that alot more hinges on the categories. It's closer to Yu-gi-oh where you manipulate, mix and match strengths and weaknesses; and less like craps or all-or-nothing stud poker, where you play the best cards you can guess, throw 'em on the table and see what happens. (Course, maybe that's just me, where my team ain't exactly 15-1...) What you may be finding is that Rotisserie fBall is sort of draft heavy, match-up management light. In roto, you pretty much pick 'em, and then keep an eye on em for injury and sufficient minutes per game. On the other hand, you can still get into a head-to-head league (assuming you're not already), where there's a lot more talent assessment week-in and week-out, more match-up management (both in terms of what team your players will be facing - Phoenix and Toronto or Miami and Chicago?, and in terms of what type of team your opponent is fielding - is he going "big-ball" "small-ball" or some sort of freakish Jason Kidd Paul Pierce thing going on?), and more random luck (What do you mean my stud field goal percentage guy just went 3 for 16?! And how dare he do it when my opponent's got Yao who just went off for, like, 30 freakin' boards?!?!). Check a Yahoo! H2H league. They should still get you into a public league w/auto draft for next weeks' games. And, you can obsess all this week about the perfect auto draft strategy! -Regards!
