  1. in my own opinion, "sleepers" are those players who unexpectedly will make a strong impact this season. the word "unexpectedly" is the keyword here. looking to your list. i will consider only Jason Maxiell as your potential sleeper. since he is the only one who is not on the Yahoo's top 100 players. also he is hoping that Chris Webber will not coming back to Detroit this season or else he will again be buried in Pistons' rotation. Other potential sleepers this season are 1.) Bonzi Wells who I think could improve now that his favorite coach has join him in Houston. 2.) Channing Fyre who i think could be the biggest beneficiary of Oden's injury. 3.) Tyrus Thomas is also being considered because now that PJ Brown is no longer a Bull, he will now has the chance to showcase why he is the number 4 pick two years ago. 4.) Travis Diener is having a great preseason this year and could eventually replace Jamaal Tinsley at the starting PG in Indiana. as for the steal of the draft, I think T-Mac is a steal in the 31st slot. Carmelo Anthony at 39th, D-ho at 44th, Felton at 69th, Foye at 74th. potential busts: Dwayne Wade - if he will not fully recover from his injury. Brandon Roy - same as Wade's reason Kevin Durant - even Lebron James is not impressive in his rookie year. too much hype. Leandro Barbosa - if the rumor is true regarding he's being Grant Hill's back-up. Corey Magette - high injury risk. David Lee - Zach Randolf's entry is a big issue here. Ranjo Rondo - High expectation despite only being the table-setter of the team. Nene - same as Magette's reason. Peja Stojavokic - same as Nene's reason Andrew Bynum - i dont expect him to imporve or at least equal his last season production. Jamaal Tinsley - same as Peja's reason. and Travis Diener is slowly eating up his starter minutes.
  2. sleepers: marvin williams - came on strong at the end of last year and is having a great pre-season. If he ends up getting the playing time he will produce numbers people have been saying he could... al thorton - with Brand on the shelf he's going to see a lot of playing time. thorton has been called the most NBA ready player taken out of the 2007 draft and if his pre-season is any indication, we may have a potential top 100 on our hands. nick collison - collison has always been fairly productive in terms of fantasy value (unfortunetly never really helping enough to deserve a consistent fantasy rotation spot). but i think that this year because of the departure of lewis and allen collison is going to be asked to step up and shoulder some of the load. if this is the case I expect good percentage, decent rebounding and about 10 - 15 pts a game. not bad at all.
  3. the best sleeper is terrence Kinsey. Chris Paul will tear it up, so he is not going to be a bust. Dwight Howard is a top 10 pick.
