Will the NBA ever be able to be trusted again because of game fixing?

I'm sure you have all read about it....Now fantasy basketball wont mean jack....Teams that deserve to go to the championship wont (Bulls, Suns, Warriors), and now their are Mobster ties to this "referee" Your Thoughts... 1. Why is this even news??? We all know it's been happening for a very long time. NFL is guilty of this as well...ever watch a 49'er game? Niners have every call going their way...it's so painfully obvious to watch.
2. It has potential to be trusted again, but if Stern and the refs dont get fired. The NBA will never be the same anymore. Its all nonsense, Stern knew about this a long time ago, and now he comes in acting like he knew NOTHING. Its pathetic, and the NBA needs to do something about it.
3. The NBA is offically the WWE and David Stern is Vince McMahon.
4. i've suspected this for a long time. ever since the 2001 western conference championship when the lakers beat a superior sacramento kings team mostly on the strength of woefully poor officiating. the refs have always protectede the superstars since the height of the jordan era and superstars becoming the face of the league rather than competition. i knew the biased reffing wouldn't last forever and something would come out to discredit them. i actually thought it'd come from the league office which so obviously protects its superstars and their marketabilty at all costs. of course nothing's proven yet but this doesn't seem to me like a coincidence or smear campaign. it happened in the early 90's in college basketball. it was really only a matter of time before it hit the nba.
5. David Stern wil pay it much lip-service just as Bud Selig has in baseball with steroids. If the allegations prove true, just as with baseball, there will need to be an asterisk (*) next to those seasons in question.
6. I knew something wasn't right. I'm done. No more basketball for me.
7. no look at baseball after the Black Soxs. to this day people double check baseball players and umpires making sure they don't throw the games.
8. Lol fantasy basketball already sucks, so I don't think it will be affected. Even though it might have been a select few that were cheating, it gives a black eye to the whole league and it will be hard to regain trust.
9. I won't trust them but I am going to continue to be a loyal fan even if that means my team never wins a title!
