I trade Tony Parker for Mike Miller in fantasy... good or bad?

I have 4 PGs, namely Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, TJ Ford, and Tony Parker. I only have 1 SG which is Rasual Butler. He really wants Parker. I want a starting SG. Was it a good fair trade or not? Your comments please. http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba/122736/startingrosters If you're able to enter the link, my team there is "Nice team name" and traded with "this is my team". I'm sorry. What I meant was I offered Parker for Mike Miller and he already accepted. The trade will be reflected on the line ups on saturday.

  1. do it if u need a SG
  2. You filled a need on your team (SG) so it was a decent trade for you. You probably could have gotten more for Parker or offered a lesser PG to get Mike Miller but he should help your team. (Williams is good so should keep him, Kidd would worry me since getting older and breaking down a little more and TJ Ford is decent backup option)
  3. Its ok but I think u could of gotten someone else. Mike Miller is decent shooter tho
  4. A great trade for both of you. You got what you despertly needed cause Bulter wasnt going to cut it as a starting SG. Miller will get you 17-20ppg with 3 point shots. He also gets you assist and boards. With the PG tri you have you should be perfectly set. Parker only scored, while the 3 PGs you are left with both score and assist. You have 3 of the top assisting PGs in the league. There is one thing...the guy you traded Parker to could have a really good team. Miller could have been extra luggage for him, or he might have had an abundance of 3 point shooters. Parker could have been the missing piece for him. Looking at both teams now...it for sure helped your team. All the teams in the leauge seem pretty even so it should be a good matchup. Good luck
  5. no problem then. i mean if parker was the only good PG u had that would have been dumb but you have kidd (like me), williams and ford so no problem
  6. I think it was alright, although you probably could of gotten somebody better.
  7. u give up parker n get mike miller?? GREAT TRADE for u.. mike miller can play both SG n SF, so great flexibility.. il giv u some stats: parker: 18pts 5asts 3rebs 1stl 52% fg 78% ft 0.5 3's mike miller: 19pts 4asts 5rebs 1stl 46% fg 80% ft 3 3's seriously i wud go for this trade.. miller's gonna be gud dis year.. so do this trade n get miller.. u really wnt lose anything, infact u gain lots of threes.. besides u hav tons of PGs hu giv at least 8 asts a nyt.. P.S. i luv horford, but remember that he is a rookie.. i wud preffer starting david west for now.. hopefully late in the seaoson horford will get even better.. but for now, put in david west.. Godbles ur team!
  8. Good for both teams. VITAL for yours. Rasual Butler was your only SG ?!? I doubt you could have gotten a better SG than Mike Miller for Tony Parker unless some other sap had an even worse PG derth than TIMT.
  9. it wasnt a bad trade
