Why are Duke basketball players stuck up?

1. Because it's Duke. If you get ino Duke and get on the team, it's almost a requirement to be stuck up, or cocky.
2. Cause there full of duke.
3. They are going to a school that they dont belong in. They cant afford it, they arent like most of the students ( from New Jersey) and they are spoiled brats. They are good in college ball, suck with school work, and then have a limited NBA career. I agree.
4. Because they are always doing cocaine.. So their noses are flared up.. Thats why they seem stuck up
5. Basketball and ego go hand in hand...more than any other sport (except NFL receivers)...In case you haven't noticed Duke (my favorite team) has been the dominate college since the 80's...Ego + Best program = attitude.
6. They are so damn good
7. They are stuck up because they are told they can be. Their players are told how great they are from the time they started playing basketball. They are usually in the top 10 players in the country. They usually come from prep schools or private schools. Then there is the aura of playing for Duke. This all leads to them being stuck up, winners, and eventually millionaires.
