College Basketball scouting question?

Im 14 yrs old,i know its too early to start thinking about college basketball but, i got cut from my high school team like a month ago... and now i am planning to play for a league with the age limit being 16. i have been playing many pick up games with older and more stronger people than me and i have realized that i can dominate the game sometimes. for a reason unknown, i didnt make my high school team.why? thats beyond me. so since i didnt make my team is it still possible to get scouted by a college? or do i have to be in a high school team?

1. It is possible that you can get recruited to play in college but you need to play in AAU tournaments. But that is not always enough. Most college coaches will begin to question why you are not on a high school team. College coaches use your experience in high school to gage what your attitude is like by communicating with the high school coach you played for.
2. team basketball is totally different than pick up basketball you need to ask why you were cut ans work on that and make your team next year no excuses!!!!!!!!!
