ncaa jerseys?

why have i seen many ncaa jerseys for sale (no name) with the #1 but there is no #1 in their team? for example Texas basketball. ive seen it but why #1

  1. you can't sell current players jerseys until they graduate or go to the nba if your looking for a kevin durant jersey u need to wait until he goes to the nba
  2. Its just to show that whatever it is that they're #1. Also its not like they make a new jersey every year for all the different players.Also players names on jerseys is an endorsement, and players are not aloud to make money from their basketball until the NBA.
  3. Because the NCAA prohibits the sale of jerseys with players names and correct numbers if they are still playing collegiate sports. Once they graduate then those jerseys can be sold with the name and correct number.
  4. I know they can make them with the correct number because i have a JJ Redick one i got about 2 yrs ago with a 4 but no name and ive seen MANY Josh McRoberts ones with a 2 but no name! so i have no idea why the only ones u can find have 1's!
